Last week the arrest of suspected terrorist Najibullah Zazi (who may have been attempting an attack on New Yorks Grand Central Station) had the entire country feeling a heightened sense of awareness regarding terrorist attacks in this country. Yet Najibullah Zazi was small potatoes compared to this weeks developments.

Meet Zachary Christie, a calculating cold-blooded monster who allegedly brought weapons of mass destruction to school and if not for the quick work of school officials dozens of innocent school children could have been tragically injured. Don’t let the fact that Zachary is only 6 years old fool you, it’s clear that the training that he had put himself through and the weapons that he had attained paint a picture of one of the most dangerous humans to walk the planet.

Zachary Christie was caught while trying to board the local public school bus with a device that included multiple tools of destruction such as a knife, spoon, fork, bottle and most notably a bottle opener. Delaware public school officials were quick to boast about their discovery “There is no parent who wants to get a phone call where they hear that their child no longer has two good seeing eyes because there was a scuffle and someone pulled out a knife,” said George Evans, the school district board’s president.

Several experts who refused to comment on the record have hinted that Zachary’s terror cell could be a nation-wide operation. Discoveries in other public schools across the country have included items such as: Yo-yo’s, a Slinky, Gummy Bears, and Silly Puddy. The entire event is a sobering reminder to parents around the country that no child is safe, and that even the kid next door could be the next Zachary Christie. Many concerned parents have asked how can they protect their children from these types of terrorists and many experts agree that observation is the first step to thwarting terror plots such as Zachary’s.

Keep an eye on the neighborhood kids and the children that attend school with your children, do they carry sticks sharpened on one end? Do they kick or throw rocks? Do they pick up objects and pretend that they are holding some type of weapon? Do they shout things such as: “I will rule the world!”? These are all red flags according to the Department of Homeland Security. One characteristic of the specific terror cell that Zachary was associated with was a uniform that had an identifying patch that had the words… “Cub Scouts” emblazoned on it. As one Anonymous source put it, “The attacks of 9-11 are in the distant past and the country has become a bit more apathetic towards terrorism and in a strange way Zachary Christie might help us all be a bit more aware of our surroundings. You can bet I will be a bit more observant when I am at the playground.”
